Calendar Booker Privacy Policy

Calendar Booker collects specific data necessary to provide its core functionality, including your email address, Google Calendar event data, and data within the active Google Spreadsheet you are using. Your email address is collected exclusively for the purpose of verifying your license and ensuring your subscription key is securely bound to your account. We access your Calendar and Spreadsheet data strictly to execute the synchronization commands you initiate, such as creating, updating, or deleting events. No other personal data is accessed, stored, or processed beyond what is required for these specific tasks. 

Your email address is used solely to validate your license status via our secure server and is never sold or shared with third parties. Access to your Google Sheet and Google Calendar is required to generate the necessary structure for syncing data and to perform the automated scheduling actions you request. To function correctly, the application requires specific permissions to view and edit calendar events, read calendar lists, view the current spreadsheet, and connect to an external service for license validation. This data is processed transiently to perform these actions and is not mined for advertising or other purposes. 

I implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data transmitted between the Calendar Booker Add-on, Google’s APIs, and our external License Server is encrypted in transit using strict HTTPS protocols. This ensures that your license keys and email address cannot be intercepted during verification. Furthermore, access to our License Server database is restricted by strict identity and access management (IAM) rules, ensuring that only the automated verification process can query your license status.

I do not store your Calendar events or Spreadsheet content on our external servers; this sensitive data is processed in-memory solely during the active execution of the script and is discarded immediately after synchronization is complete. 

We retain your email address only for the duration necessary to fulfill the licensing and verification purposes described in this policy, or until you request its removal. Operational data, such as the specific content of your calendar events or spreadsheet rows, is processed in real-time during synchronization and is not permanently stored on our servers.

Calendar Booker's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page to this section
