Appointment Booking for Google Calendar™ Privacy Policy

Google Calendar Data: The Add-on accesses your Google Calendar to verify availability, create new events upon booking confirmation, and update event statuses. It also reads event details to populate your booking dashboard. 

Identity and Contact Information: Your email address is accessed to authenticate you as the add-on owner, to associate your specific configuration settings with your account and send you notifications regarding new bookings.

Business and Branding Assets: We collect configuration settings such as your business name, operating hours, and branding preferences. If provided, business logos are collected to be displayed on your booking page.

Payment and Subscription Data: When upgrading to premium features, third-party processors like PayPal collect payment information. We collect a status flag (e.g., "Premium") to manage feature access.

I do not use this data for any purpose other than facilitating the appointment booking functionality. I do not share your calendar data with third parties unrelated to the service provision.

Service Facilitation: Calendar data is used exclusively to facilitate the appointment booking functionality.

Communication: Your email is used to send immediate notifications regarding new bookings made by customers.

Personalization: Branding assets and configuration settings are used to customize the booking interface for your customers.

Account Management: Information is used to associate your preferences with your account and to verify your subscription status for feature access.

Secure Storage: Your configuration settings and subscription status are stored securely within your own Google account storage associated with the Add-on.

Data Sharing Restrictions: Calendar data is not shared with third parties unless they are directly related to the provision of the service.

Financial Security: We do not store or process full credit card or bank account details on our servers; these are handled entirely by secure third-party payment providers, such as PayPal, to handle subscription payments for premium features.

Usage Limitation: Uploaded logos are used only for your own booking interface and are not shared publicly or used for other purposes.

Ecosystem Integration: We do not maintain a separate database of your personal booking history outside of the Google ecosystem, ensuring your data remains within your controlled environment.

Minimal Retention: The only data maintained outside of standard Google storage is information required for subscription verification, such as your premium status flag.

Access and Control: Users maintain control over their data through the Google ecosystem where the information is stored. I do not maintain a separate database of your personal booking history, configuration, and branding asset outside of the Google ecosystem, except as required for subscription verification.

Appointment Booking for Google Calendar™ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
